Renovation of the “Carlton Garage” parking garage

In July of this year, we started to implement rehabilitation of the columns of the supporting structure and the full-surface mobile waterproofing membrane based on polyurea on an area of ​​1908.00 m2 in the object “Carlton Garages in Bratislava”. Based on the assessments of the actual situation, a project for the rehabilitation of the supporting surfaces was developed. It was necessary to solve the rehabilitation of the floors around 19 columns in a grid of 4.5 x 4.5 m, and to prevent water seepage into the structure, a full-surface mobile waterproofing membrane was used.

The proposed solution was chosen based on passage load and requirements were also placed on application speed during full operation with limited parking spaces.

The result is a sanitized surface, which consists of a single-cast polyurea-based membrane with silicon carbide filling, subsequently sealed with a topcoat. The properties of the material allowed us to apply individual steps in short time intervals.

The implementation was connected with the installation of traffic signs, shoring around the columns, securing the workplace through all floors, demolition work, installation of iron and subsequent rehabilitation.
