Bitumen strips have, compared to classic asphalt strips, higher softening point of the coating material, many times higher ductility and higher mechanical resistance of the strip at minus temperatures.
Bitumen strips are suitable for hydroinsulations of lower structures (for medium and more demanding buildings), flat roofs and where there is a higher demand for long-term insulation life and impermeability of insulations. At hydroinsulation of flat roof with bitumen strips, the top layer is shipped with spreading material to prolong the service life of the strip against UV light.
Bitumen strips are suitable as a hydroinsulation layer against moisture, water, as a hydroinsulation layer on terraces etc. Their quick application and high resistance ensure durability of the implemented work as well as long-term customer satisfaction.
